INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS for 1955k, 1965k, 1975k, 1985k and 1995k Yamaha Filter Kits 1> Remove the old filter, hardware and sealing ring. 2> For the 1965k (Banshee), trim the small triangle shaped plastic pieces that extend up into the filter area. You will be able to see that these triangles interfere with the new filter if not removed. 3> Slip the new adapter flange into the slot in the air box and clamp the top to the air box wall. Drill a 3/16" hole through the air box wall using the adapter flange as a drill jig. 4> Remove the adapter flange and silicon the joint between the adapter flange and air box wall. Reinstall the adapter flange as before and bolt the top of the adapter flange to the air box wall. The joint should be airtight and not require removal thereafter. 5> Slip the filter(s) onto the flange and tighten via the screw clamp(s). 6> Replacement filters can be ordered;1955, 1965,1975,1985 and 1995
